Mariupol is a port city in southeastern Ukraine that became one of the central sites of Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. After a prolonged siege and heavy destruction, it came to symbolize both the human cost of the war and the resilience of those who endured it. The reading features testimonies of people who lived through these events in Mariupol.
