House of Representatives' Talent and Development Manager Elizabeth Mihalcea will discuss the different career paths within the U.S. House of Representatives, including those in Member, district, committee, and support offices, and how to apply for positions. She will also review best application practices.
Mihalcea will be joined by retired Marine Staff Sergeant Solomon “Sol” Jennings. He serves as Director of the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program, which provides two-year paid employment opportunities for Veterans, Gold Star Family Members, and Active-Duty Spouses serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Elizabeth Mihalcea will also host drop-in office hours in CPD from 3:00-4:30pm, first come, first served. Use this time to discuss your resume or opportunities that interest you.
