A life-threatening injury can happen anywhere, and severe bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death after a traumatic injury. The American College of Surgeons' Stop the Bleed® program empowers you to go from bystander to lifesaver by teaching you how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and respond using lifesaving techniques, including direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application.
This free, hands-on training is ideal for students interested in healthcare and provides practical skills that could help save a life.
Space is limited to 20 participants per session. Registration is required. You may only sign up for one session, A or B.
