Life at Washington and Lee University moves quickly. The constant stream of meetings, classes, emails, deadlines, and assignments, along with the steady pull of our devices’ notifications and feeds, has many of us—students, faculty, and staff alike—existing in an intellectually splintered state.

We invite any interested faculty, staff, and students to join a community of readers to unplug and dive into reading together across the campus for one hour on April 3, 2026, between 10 AM and 1 PM. Refreshments will be offered.
