John is a patent attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP who has extensive experience in patent litigation and strategic counseling, mostly in the pharmaceutical and chemical arts. John has expertise in biochemistry, particularly drug mechanisms of action, as well as chemicals, chemical processes, molecular diagnostics, and biofuels. After W&L, John received his PhD in Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and his JD from UNC Chapel Hill.
