Stewart Cory ’15 is an independent filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She writes, directs, and produces narrative features that explore power, ambition, and moral complexity and has worked on films with budgets as small as $60,000 and as large as $30 million. Her upcoming projects include Whitewater, a political drama inspired by real events, and Power Failure, a financial thriller set during the Texas energy crisis.

Stewart worked in investment banking, private equity, and the startup world before she found the confidence to chase her film dreams, and finds that her training in finance and operations are a special edge in the entertainment industry. Stewart majored in Geology and minored in Studio Art and was a Johnson Scholar. She is the current President of the Los Angeles Alumni Chapter and loves being involved with W&L!
