Always wanted to learn to surf? Now's your chance! Come learn to surf with the Outing Club!
This quick trip will start on Friday, October 17th at 3pm with a van ride to Nags Head. We'll camp in Nags head, wake up, enjoy the beach, then go to a beginner surf lesson midday. We'll start back to campus in the afternoon and get back around 8:30pm.
To participate during the surf lesson, you must be able to swim. No surfing or camping experience necessary! We will be sleeping at a campsite in tents provided by the outing club, and other camping equipment can be checked out at no cost! We will have access to bathrooms and showers.
October in the Outer Banks features warm ocean temperatures and cooler nights. The cost of the trip includes our campsite, dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch Satuday, snacks, a beginner surfing lesson, and transportation.
