As AI accelerates across every industry, universities face a defining question: Will they lead the transition—or lag behind it? This interactive workshop engages institutional stakeholders in collaborative planning for AI readiness.
Rather than prescriptive solutions, this session uses structured brainstorming and small-group work to identify opportunities, address concerns, and develop actionable next steps. Grounded in systems thinking and humanistic values, the framework empowers participants to shape institutional AI strategy that serves both innovation and educational mission.
Drawing from research on AI’s impact across higher education, this workshop invites faculty, staff, and administrators to move beyond reactive policies toward intentional, inclusive planning. Participants will contribute to identifying pathways forward and learn about proposed faculty incentive programs designed to support thoughtful AI integration.
