Please join us for readings by Shenandoah Editorial Fellows DW McKinney and Sylvia Jones on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 6:30 p.m. in Northen Auditorium. This event is sponsored by the Glasgow endowment. It is free and open to the public.

DW McKinney is a 2024 Best of the Net winner in Nonfiction and recipient of a 2024 Nevada Press Foundation Award of Excellence. Her writing has been published in Oxford American, Publishers Weekly, Los Angeles Review of Books, Romper, Ecotone, and Narratively. A 2024 TORCH Literary Arts Fellow, she is also a fellow of PERIPLUS Collective and The Writers’ Colony at Dairy Hollow.

Sylvia Jones is a writer, editor, and prison abolitionist. At the moment, she works as an associate editor for WEST BRANCH and is a 2021-22 literary editing fellow at The Stadler Center for Poetry & Literary Arts at Bucknell University. Sylvia's writing has appeared or is forthcoming in DIAGRAM, Shenandoah, Windfall Room, New York City’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, The Hopkins Review, Poet Lore, and elsewhere. She earned her MFA at American University in Washington D.C.
